OK here is the problem (only not) I have a 10 year old...and about 1400 DVD's...Thats like OIL and WATER. The ones she is allowed to watch are getting DESTROYED. I need to copy them to my computer, and then keep a copy there, and burn one for her. that way when one gets ruined, I can burn another. Is there any software out there that can help? Is that legal?
I also need instructions on how to accomplish this task. I know where the power button is, and I know how to instert the DVD. I'm just kidding. But some instructions on what to do first would be helpful! Thanks!
Man I'm needy! Also, I would like to play some of the DVD's in Windows XP Media Edition...I used DVD Decrypter to get the dvd to my HDD, but Windows XP Media Edition does not recognize the files. Any ideas??? I also have Nero 7, but am reading LOTS of isses here in this forum...is this the right product to use for a final computer based copy?
@jlw5224 Go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/256436 -- I wrote the guide specifically for Newbies. It's pretty simple if you follow the steps in accordingly. Enjoyed it..!! Programs/applications you'll need: DVD Decrypter (it's free...and still the King of ripper if you know how to use it) Nero Recode 2 (for encoding and burning, from the same developer/author of DVD Shrink, but it's 3 times faster) Nero Burning Rom (to burn)
If that is really you in that picture...GOOD GOD...All that and brains too! Please take that as a compliment! Thanks for the help!
