    Hi all,

I want to backup my music files onto a DVD disk without compressing them so that they could be played off the DVD on any PC I might use.
I was hoping it would serve as a backup for all my music.
I can drag and drop some files and folders onto the DVD and it copies them.
But others which I think are mainly MP3 files I get a message
"Windows Encountered a problem when trying to copy this file"
I can copy the file no problem to a memory stick or to another part of the PC harddrive.

Is there something I am doing wrong or is there any good freeware out there that you can use to back up files or music to CD that doesn't encrypt or compress it.

    Thanks
    Debbie

If you don't have a burning suite, then I suggest the freeware CDBurnerXP Pro. Site: http://www.cdburnerxp.se/
Just burn your files as "data dvd"
