DVD Backup, which is best

I have tried to backup a couple of DVDs recently and all was going well until DVD Fab trial stopped. I cannot get DVD shrink to work on a few of the DVD's so I want to know if there is any other free software like shrink that will work that I haven't tried

 

The HD Decrypter part doesn't expire.
You can still rip most DVD's with it.

 

Yeah tried that but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to open this, it keeps defaulting to the DVD to DVD option which has expired, please help and excuse my ignorance.

 

Mine has expired too, but I can select either the entire disk or the main Title and save to a folder or image.
