    Most likely it's a media problem. What kind of blanks are you using?

    Hi there,

    Download VSO Inspector v1.1 --> http://www.vso-software.fr/

    It will give you the MEDIA ID of your blank disks.

    Then visit this site, and see what others say about this media:

    http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia

    Skipping and freezing problems are usually caused by:

    A) Cheap Media
    B) Burned too fast, burn at 2x or 4x MAX

    What speed do you usually burn those media ?

    Good quality media: Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim Datalife, FujiFilm (Made in Japan)

    Keep us posted !

    try to reburn from the disc you have your p.c. could probably read these disc i think your disc have just been ravaged by the worst enemy of media that has ever been known to man kind ..time are they scratched or dirty you might try alcohol or a disc repair kit. the cheaper media manuf.produce disc that just will not last. try the verbs and ty's. good luck

    raryke I hope you have success just a bit of info they don't have to be noticably damaged to have lost there luster cheaper dyes shift or fade w/ time rendering them coasters I was just throwing options in the air make sure the media is quality and compatable. as this is probably the cheapest fix to the majority of headaches out there.
