Your firmware is a little behind, update from here http://www.de.nec.de/software/2339_FW_ND-4550A_108win.zip To be successful at burning you need a minimum of 512meg RAM, I would recommend upgrading, in the meantime dont multitask while burning and turn off all unnecessary programs including spyware.
