Okay have been copying all my discs and i use dvd shrink as well as alcohol 120%.
Half of the movies come out fine the other half come out like theie scratched except none of the original discs are????????
I use verbatim dvd -r and am unsure what could be the problem? Please can someone tell me what it is I did think it was the original so i took them in and got the buffered at the local vid. shop then redone them still the same

what burn speed are you using? 2x to 4x is the suggested burn speed slower burns result in less pixelation, skipping and choppy pictures as I understand your thread to imply. also while burning don't use any other applications as it may interfere with the burn process. try disconnecting from the internet and disabling your antivirus as they have been known to mess with burning dvds. one more thing is try to borrow or rent 1 of the same discs and back those up. Once you reply with the results I'm sure help is a post away. Also try the guides section as there may have been something i missed.
