hi when i burn a disc it has 4-6 dark burn lines about varying in sizes i have used nero convertxto dvd win avi my dvd drive is the nec dvd 2500a i wouldnt mind the burns but the dvds wont play at all when i put it in my xbox 360 its says unreadable disc and when i put it into a dvd player it justs loads forever the dvds i am using are philips. i just cant figure out the problem thanks.
Set the burn at 4x. If that doesn't help, switch to the consistently reliable 'Verbatim' brand and burn at 4x or half the maximum shown on the package.
your burner is old...... over 4.5 yrs old! Unless you had a firmware update it won't burn properly to the newer media out there. Philips media is crap anyway! and Xbos is picky on what it plays! So I suggest you use 8x media....
