Hello, I read through this thread on 'Illegal Disc' error in Nero. I did the fixes suggested there - updating the firmware of my burner & also problems with MusicMatch/Itunes. But I still have the problem. Incidentally, it works with a 8x compatible media but not on a 16x. I have tried different media (Sony, TDK), but the problem persists. Your Nero is really old, try for an update here, both packages http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe Every thing else looks OK. Maybe your Dell drive only recognizes 8X
