    Hi d4latl
Watch the caps - it's like your screaming (against forum rules too)
Now to your problem. What brand of discs are you using & the rated speed? (i.e Sony -R 8x). What's the make and model of your drive?

16X is way to fast for anyone............
about 4X or 8X is plenty fast and safe..

    imation disks suck......................

    sonic record now sucks................
have it myself used only for cd's never dvd's

try using DvDShrink, DvDDecypter, and spend $39.00
for AnyDvd, best money you will spend.......

you could also post some computer specs/ect..
    so we can help you.....................

    good day
