For some reason my dvd burner drive, which i just purchased a week ago, continues to show the title of a disc i put in long after ive removed it from the drive. Ive tried refreshing the drive from numerous sources and refreshing my computer window to no avail. Reopening and closing drive. Etc. It seems to have started after ive used the DVD Decryptor program, so ive looked through its settings but couldnt find anthing that seemed to unlock the drives hold to previously insterted dvd rom title. And when ive put a new movie in, sometimes instead of recognizing it and starting to play it does not auto play, as it usually has. Although i just tried putting in a new movie dvd this time and after inserting it the new correct title of the actual dvd really in the drive DOES show up. Any ideas as to what is causing this and how to fix it?
hello, i had the same problem after installing winDVD and dvd decrypter, which one causing the problem i haven t found out, but i found a handy little tool that cured it: it's called autofix.exe and is from microsoft. you can find it via google. worked for me, hope it works for you.
