dvd burner not working

    nero and other burning programs have been giving me "media not supported" errors, despite working fine just weeks ago,

    the burner is NEC DVD+-RW ND-6500A and im using sony dvd-r's,

    here is a nero log that might be helpful

    Updating your firmware might help.

    Then check with Disc info in Nero CD/DVD Speed, to see your drive can read MID from the disc (both burned and new blank discs).

    Also try a benchmark test.

    Though, if you could burn week before with same media, your drive may be giving up.
