DVD Burner printing

    First of i apalogize if this is in the wrong forum but i didn't know where else to ask this question. I heard from someone that if i got the right software i could have my dvd drive print in black on the disc. Is this possible? if so what software do i use? Thanks for you time

    do you mean turning the data that was burned onto the disk black than no can't do it. can by disks that are black to begin with. can print onto a cd/dvd disk using a printer like epson r200/300 series

    no, i heard that like if you flip the disc over so the part you can write on with a sharpie is face down. And the laser of the drive can etch writing into it. It sounds wierd to me thats why i'm asking. Thanks again

    its a special burner that can do it. Not sure of the brand, but thats the only one that can do it. I will look it up and get back to you.

    maybe it is lightscribed but the information i was given made it seem like it was for all drives

    no, i don't think there's any way to make a regular ol' dvd burner do that.
