Hello. I'm planning on purchasing a new DVD-Burner. What are some DVD-Burners you'd recommend? I'm looking for these features in particular: -Smart Burn; Buffer UnderRun Prove Technology -Overburn -VAS -Support of all media discs -acceptable speeds Cheers, SSGiNC.
Many recommend the BenQ 1640 I have the LG GSA4163B and like it real well. When it pukes tho I'm gettin a BenQ. Here is a link where you can compare features. http://www.cdfreaks.com/article/search/B/ (edited for punctuation)
I have both a Sony Single Layer 4x DVD±RW and recently purchased Pioneer DL DVD±RW drive. They both have performed well and have good reliability and compatibility. I almost exclusevily use RITEK media as they have been very good to me. I just ordered my first batch of Dual layer discs. I hope they work to.
The BenQ 1640 looks sweet. My biggest thing right now about my burner currently is that it is way too slow and the quality of disks plainly stinks. I'm using a Dynex brand burner -- i know i know. I didn't know any better when I bougth it lol. This time I'm doing my research. I read the conclusion page and it sounds like a pretty good deal. Anyone know a good place to buy one of these things? I looked on pricewatch and the only ones I saw were Bulk ones. I'm not sure if that will come with the full package if it does, and I want the software, it sounds good. If anyone knows where I can get one of these, please fill me in. I see they are only around 40-60 dollars(sweet).
