My Liteon m/n SOHW-1673so6c burns iso files at .8x I installed a new Liteon m/nSHM-165h6s and it burns the same iso file at 5.6x!! Whats wrong with the old drive? Can I change ant settings? Thanks .
???????don't you mean whats wrong with the new drive? Are you using the same media?, Have you removed the old drive? If not is the new drive set to master on the same channel as the old one is as a slave? IS DMA enabled on the secondary IDE channel? Whats the speed spec of the drive for burning the media type you have?
Thanks for the reply. I found my promblem. The original config had a cd drive. It was master, burner was slave. Cannot enable dma on both. All is well now!
