My dvd burner randomly started labeling itself a cd-drive and reading blank dvd-rs as blank cd-rs in Nero. The only changes I've made to my system prior to this were the installation of dvdshrink and dvddecrypter, and the reinstallation of Nero. Anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks in advance. p.s. It's a Plexor 708A drive.
medialife I think most folks here would like a lot more information--system specs, has it worked before? If so, what has changed since. I would try uninstalling it in the Device Manager, then re-booting and see if XP (assuming you have XP) finds it and correctly identifies it--Let us know if that works--if not get back to us with more information-- Whitfield
