Dvd burner-which one dvd-r\rw or dvd+r w

    Which DVD burner should I buy? The DVD-R or the DVD+R. Is there even a difference? HELP!

    Dvd-R is more compatible with standalone players than DVD+R.

    Main selling point however would be the fact that DVD-R media is mucho cheaper than DVD+R.

    Get a pioneer.

    I second that. While I like my LG burner just fine, the Pioneer offers support for both formats, is pretty reliable, and is priced well.
