Hi Guys: I replacded my old cd burner with a new dvdvburner,it will play dvd,s it will burn vcd,s but it will not burn .avi files converted to mpeg,it reads the drive or the cd is not ready.I am using Divxto dvd and dvd shrink plus dvddecyrpter.I know there are a lot of knowledegable people on this forum .maybe you can help me out .I hope I have put this in the right section,if not I apologize.
Hi there, Please provide us much more information. What DVD Burner are you using ? What's the firmware revision on it ? What brand of media are you using ? What's the Media ID of those media ? You are using DVD Media and NOT CD-R media right ? Maybe your burner needs a firmware upgrade to recognize those new media ? VSO Inspector v1.1 --> http://www.vso-software.fr/ can provide all those answer in a few seconds ! MPEG files converted with DivxToDVD are just plain files, nothing special about them. If you can burn DATA, you should be able to burn that VIDEO_TS directory.
