DVD burner will only burn rewritable DVD

    DVD burner will burn DVD's playable only on my PC, not in the DVD player except a DVD RW.

    I was told that there is something wrong with the burn engine. If so how do I fix the problem?
    The Drive is a "Sony DVD RW DW-D26A JYS2" with no firmware udate available.
