dvd burner wont read dvd's

    just got an lg dvd burner and it worked fine for about 2 days and now it wont read anything let alone burn anything???? can anyone help

    Does it still read any of the original dvd movies? If not, then there is a possibility that your burner may be dead.

    hi

    prior to dyeing did you have any errors? as it may have changed DMA?

    uninstall the drive in device manager and reboot your PC

    you can use nero info tool to check DMA, and while there look at ASPI layer and see if installed and working ok?
