Hi I would like some of your opinions on a good DVD burner.. I need to make copies of some DVD's to bring with me Offshore because I dont want to mess up my originals. Could anyone tell me what a good burner is at the moment. I am looking at the $350-500 range. Thanks for your help.
I have a Pioneer DVR a04/104 [f/w 1.31] Which I've never had a problem with. But Pioneer are now onto the 105/a05 which burns at X4 (NICE , 15 minute burn time with the right media)!! But I would imagine that a lot of people on here (AFTERDAWN) will suggest the Sony DRU 500 because this burns in both formats DVD-R/RW & DVD+R/RW. DVD-R ~ CBR (Constant Bit Rate) DVD+R ~ VBR (Variable Bit Rate) I think...therefore I am
Pioneer DVR-A05 Very good burner, works great for both movies and games. And also work with very cheap DVD-R media.
