    If you are interested in a good value drive I found one at www.avlogic.com its a NU DDW-081 it sells for $93 if you go to NU's website they have a rebate of $15 on this drive if bought between 2-9-04 and 2-26-04 that brings it down to $78. Out of the box it only burns +R/RW but has a firmware update that lets it burn -R/RW. It will read all dvd formats. The specs for DVDs 8x/4x/16x for CDs 40x/12x/40x. Ive had one for about 2 week and no problems I can burn a dvd in 8 min. So if anyone is interest I hope this helps.

    Is the prices on newegg.com are in canadian or in american dollar???

    newegg is in U.S. dollars. I built my current PC piece by piece through them and every order was smooth sailing.
