dvd burning help

i recently got a new computer and got nero 7 for it on my old it had nero 7 also. when i ran out of capacity when burning a dvd a pop up comes up and ask my if i want to reduce the quality to fit the video on. on my new computer it dosen't ask me that and i use up the same amount of capacity as i do on my old computer. is there a way to turn that pop up on?

 

Do you know what version of Nero7 came with your new computer. example 7.0.0.0

Nero API version: 7.2.0.3 and 7.2.0.3b

These latest versions of Nero are full of bugs, I recommend you uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install 7.0.8.2 a more stable version from here

No problems, I am in the process of downloading 7.2.3.2b to give it a trial so I can then comment on the results, so far I am happy with 7.0.8.2, but as I read a lot of log files I have to experiment, Cheers.
