Hi Where the hell am I going wrong, I download a film from Ares and convert with WinAVI, next burning with Nero Adding Audio TS & Audio TS then adding the converted file. When I play on my DVD player up comes Error No Audio and No Data also saying no Disc, I would be grateful if someone could be of help. By the way my DV players are up to daye play any. Thanks Morgy
Dear brynbach, You probably need first to pinpoint when and where the problem occurs: 1) original avi playing o.k.? 2) after converting with WinAVI, still playing o.k.? 3) burn to hd with Nero first, play o.k.? 4) burn to dvd, play o.k.? If you could find this out, then more people would be able to help.

I hope this makes more sence, I`m using Nero click on Make a DVD add Audio TS and Video_TS THEN drag on the converted file and click burn ie, 20.09.09 DVD_VIDEO FILE SORTED 20.09.30 caching of file started 20.09.30 caching of file completed 20.09.30 burn process started at 1x [1,380kb/s Pioneer DVD -RW DV TRACK On the burn completion Burn process completed successfully at 1x[1,380kb/s] OK Now when I play on my DVD player up the message comes up, NO AUDIO DATA No IMAGE DATA I hope this is more helpfull as you can see I`m a novice when it comes to burning. There's no need to apologise 'cos we all start somewhere. That's what this site is about. Anyway, I take it that things were o.k. before burning with Nero. Now you didn't specify which sub-program you did use, but it's probably Nero Vision Express. However, if you look at the times specified in your log, you'll notice that Nero actually did not perform any burning. That's why you're getting nothing. In any case, try do it with Nero Recode instead: Run Nero Recode, click 'copy entire dvd to dvd', then 'import dvd', then go highlight the Video_TS folder (just the folder), confirm, and follow the lead from there. If you still have problems, please post again. Good luck!
scf_au Since I wrote to you I downloaded Shrink and used the system I burned through Nero startsmart thats the version and I use and was successful, thank you for your time and help. REGARDS BRYNBACH
