May not be the burner but the discs you are using - Princo
Pretty bad - not a quality manufacturer.
So let's try some quality stuff like Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or made in Japan Maxell. For instore Taiyos look for made in Japan Fuji or Sony. These usually id as being made by Taiyo.
let us know how that turns out - good, bad or otherwise!

Another thing to note. You only have 256MB of memory and 59% of it is in use. You really need to add more RAM to your system. Run a disk cleanup on your box and defrag the hard disk too.

Do the defrag and disc cleanup too - that's good advice from waynekusa.
That's part of regular 'maintenance' - a good thing for pc's.

    edit: spelling

I will link you to how to do a screen capture and image host using windows paint program (free) and hosting the image at imageshack (it is also free).
Go to where alkohol starts posting screen caps in this thread:
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/259299
and here is one on using imageshack
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2/252375
I started to do a blog on how to do this, but didnt complete it. It does show the first page of Imageshack.
    http://my.afterdawn.com/maxburn/blog_entry.cfm/330

The paint program is in Start>Programs>Accessories

    **edit**
Here is where the original problem thread is open and where to post:
