I'm Fairly new to this. I have a optiarc DVDcd multi recorder dvd+R DL. Windows Xp I live in USA. I downloaded a few movies. Some of them I have gotten to burn and play in my dvd player and my Ps2. There are also some that won't play. I get an Error in my DVD player saying NO playback feature. I get a error in my PS2 saying TV system doesnt match. I use maxell 4.7Gig 16X dvd+r I have WINAvi Converter, Vobsub AVS media VSO divxtodvd IFO editor VCD gear. I download and I DO SEED AND SHARE :) off utorrent. I use NERO 7 essential. It came with my dvd burner. I have winRar. K-lite codecs pack. I use VideoLan
and WMC. I was reading something about NTSC and I were wondering could that have something or alot to do with the playback feature that im having and what is the best program to use. I would really appreiciate some help. I need these dvd's to play. I help feed my family with it. Any help I can get I would love it. I've read and read and read. It time I Make a post.

If some of your movies that you’ve downloaded are in the Pal format UK and your TV and playstation do not support Pal that’s why the movies won’t play to convert the movies use DVD flick and in the options change the output to NTSC here is a link

Not sure about the playstation games is your playstation multi region chipped been a wile since I used mine have a look in the playstaion forum don’t forget though even if your playstation is multi region your TV must be able to support Pal

Also these disk’s Maxell are not a very good brand especially when it comes to playback issues won’t effect them not playing but will skip and stutter

Remove the file to another folder then delete it or start computer in safe mode then delete it if you restart the computer then try and delete it that usually does the trick

Try to see if any other programs are using the file .Example : I use dvd shrink and dvd decrypter most of the time .If I decrypt it makes about a 8 gig file( varies with movie length ).I then shrink the image with dvd shrink. Then I burn with nero or decrypter. If I forget and leave the movie open in dvd shrink it will give me the same error you speak of when trying to delete the larger 8g image . Once I close dvd shrink it will let me delete the larger 8g file and i usually keep or delete the smaller 4.5 g or so file (after making a couple of copies first of course).

ok I am getn pretty frustrated. I downloaded Express Burn I transferred movie files to be burned and hit BURN...it couldn't find the files LOL I tried to download DVD Defabdecrypter and got this msg 'invalid floating point ooperation' Is this some kind of a joke and does any1 have a replacement for decrypter? Even my backup version has gone bellyup.
