Ok so I'm ripping a dvd to add subtitles and coming accross a problem. First I decrypt it. Then demux it. I demux VTS 5_0 which is the main video file. According to PGC demux, it's 2 hours long. When I add the subtitles and get ready to shrink it, DVD Shrink tells me, "Failed to open Video_TS.IFO" I went and checked the main movie file and when I play it, it's only 50 minutes long. The movie is supposed to be 2 hours. Does anyone know why this is happening?
I used Muxman. I forgot to mention an error that Muxman gives me once it finishes the process. "Multiplex operation halted" "Reference to non-existant scene "Segment_1_scn34" from PGC "VTS01_TTL01_PGC1" I've rippled a few movies and added subs but never get errors like that.
Sounds like the celltimes.txt file problem where the last line needs deleted. I had that with the Master and Commander movie.
I'm gonna try that but is there a reason why DVD shrink won't let me open it? "DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to open VIDEO_TS.IFO"
Hey thanks a lot. At first I deleted the last line of the Celltimes log and still got the same error. I decided to leave out the cell times and Muxman didn't give me any error and DVD Shrink opened it. However now I can skip to the next chapters. Is there anyway of knowing what lines to delete?
If I remember it was like this: If the log file from Pgcdemux is available it should show the total number of frames. If the last number in Celltimes.txt is within (15?) then it should be changed to make it 20. Eg total frames........=250919 Celltimes.txt last line=250914 then change it to 250899
