here i can get 100 for $25 includes shipping .i wonder if i could get them any cheaper elsewhere? http://www.shop4tech.com/item1245.html
Have a look at this thread if you want... http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/207868 You can get them from Blockbuster free; read JVC's first post.
i definatly saw them for 20.00 shipped somehwere on these boards, or maybe it was in videohelp.com i just got mine from mediasuperstore.com for 25 shipped
yea sorry bout that, mustve been the last day...supermediastore has em 22.99 shipped right now, isnt much cheaper tho
i just picked some up from microcenter for 2.49 for 10. i picked up 30 of them. going back tomorrow to get 50 more.
Chayne, Do the cases you bought at Micro Center smell??? I used to buy cases there a while back but they kept smelling like fish!!!! Found out that it wasn't just me. They actually smell like that because they're made out of recycled materials. Now I only buy cases made from virgin materials. Don't think I'll ever go back!! And they're the same price $25.00 shipped for 100 pcs. Supermedia.com or Rima.com
i have not really ever noticed the smell. but i did open up some just this second, and yes they do have a funny smell. but i also still had one pack from Sams and they dont smell the same, but they do still smell. i think i will continue to buy from Microcenter especially knowing that it is made from recycles. i just kind like that.
sounds like a good idea, just the smell does not bother me. like i said prior, never really noticed until it was mentioned
http://www.supermediastore.com/black-dvd-cases-100.html i got these from there. maybe they will smell good
I purchased 100 of those from supermedia. Yes, they have an odor. It's probably because of the recycled polypropylene that they are made of. They don't smell like fish but they do have an fairly strong odor to them.
If you like the whole recycling concept ! Why not check out the Dumpster diving thread ? Jvc's post ect .! You can get Commercial quality cases ( Same ones the DVD movies & games come in & also the same Heavy lockable Type Blockbuster uses for free.) Well you have to dive for them or ask the mgr. to save them for you .But other than your investment in time & effort they're free !"FREE IS FREE" (JVC) and and if you like smelly cases don't wash them lol! Seriously you might have to occasionally rinse of one or two here& there but I find it worth the time ! And it gets to be fun like a scavenger hunt or looking for Easter eggs ! ( the edible kind) Besides we can always use a new point of view @ the Dumpster diving thread ! Good luck & Happy Hunting !
i would do the dumpster diving in a heartbeat, but i like the slim cases. takes up alot less space. if they came in the slim case i would dumpster diver in a minute.
Well I can't promise you that ! Occasionally you find a slim-line case in there with the Standard size Single Disc & Double disc cases! and the occasional Thick double disc cases ! but it's not the Norm ! I used to buy the verbatim slim dvd cases at samsclub when I was buying them but my wife likes the full sized cases -Esaier to read the spine & as Jvc says "Free Is Free " You might also find Movies /dvd's /Posters & other goodies in there too ! But I understand your prefference you like what you like I respect that ! good Luck & happy Burning !
