Hi since ive started using shrink and decrypter ive had no problem with them but now i cannot burn anything else, photos, music,programs etc wont burn windows just stores it in its burn temp folder and a error message comes up, do shrink or decrypter alter any of the window xp home settings?
They shouldn't control any other burning processes. Have you tried uninstalling them, run a reg cleaner and then burning the other things that you are having trouble with?
Shrink and DVDD would not take over you system at all! they are just programs that do what they are intended to do and not take over your computer to stop you from burning anything else! what program(s) are you using to burn the other files (music, photos, software programs)? I would think that the program being used suddenly got altered in some way as to not work anymore! I would uninstall that program, then do a registry clean up, defrag, then reboot and install the program again! This way it would assure that your system is clean after the uninstall and should work again with the new installation! try that. good luck.
