DVD chapter transition pauses....

OK kit used:

1.5ghz athlon xp 384 ram blah blah..
Pioneer 105
DVD Shrink to rip and reauthor.. takes 30mins with nothing in background
Nero 5.5.9.14
x2 speed silvers. 59p from bigpockets.co.uk (sold out i think)
Samsung S224 standalone

Problem:

On a couple of chapter changes I've experienced a very slight pause (This is as well as the dual layer transition pause as to be expected on this particular player as originals do the same . Any ideas? I will be getting new ritek g04 media. Do i need to change any software?, hope not cos otherwise dvd shrink is excellent..

Other strange occurences..

Again, on or near chapter change can get some visual choppiness but if rewound and played again disappears? weird.

Also on the labelling issue...

I've tried labelling and it seriously messed up the discs Would not recommend it on this particular media.

Btw tried these discs on 4 players only 2 could play so time for better more expensive discs. I think generally the more ya pay the better quality... Like most other things in life.. Although diff between £1.50 and 59p is a lot!! So even if 1 in 3 were coasters still cheaper in a way..
