dvd chapters

    is there any way to remove chapters from a movie without affecting the movie itself?

    Well no.

    To do anything to DVD you have to but it to your HD (sometimes need to remove protections of that dvd) and then you can edit it with some program.

    Try DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink (not DVD2One)

    If you just rip and burn, then the chapters stay, but if you import the vobs to some authoring program or demux them into elementary streams, then the chapters disappear.
