After i burn and it plays there is not a menu option, and you can't fast forward or rewind ,if you try it takes you back to the start of the film
Thanks so much,,, I'm running a HP dual disc, with 300 G drive withm 2G mem and920 proces, so everything should work but i'm still lost.
well just tried an episode disc and that doesnt work, only burnt the 1st half of episode 1 i'll try a full movie next. I am wondering if you bought this wouldnt it be easy to use shrink dvd to shrink your movie file onto your hard drive (free program)and then utilise tmpgenc dvd author (there is a trial available before you buy) to add your own menus before you burrn it to disc
i actually have the shrink but when i've compressed and such and i go to copy it won't allow unless i use nero, maybe i'm looking for at it all wrong
shrink isnt a burning application, its a reauthor but will utilise a burning application like like nero to complete the burning to disc part of your project
well i can see why your fustrated with this program its actually crap.Wont do anything you want it to do even if you have all the functions right How about a tutorial on dvdv shrink instead
gotcha, but would'nt i be able to use the dvd studio for that or would i have to change it to nero, i also downloaded anydvd, but not sure how that works yet.
anydvd has many functions including allowing you to bypass the encryptions on copy righted discs so that you can back them up and also change the region code so that you can read other countries discs. As LONG as the program is running in the background when you insert your disc you will be able to copy it and the program you use will allow it to be copied but if you arent running it, your program will see it as copy protected and thus refuse to budge
but if you use shrinkdvd and select the full backup mode, the program has a built in ripper and will do it automatically. You will be able to backup the whole disc with menus etc, if you chose the re author function you can cut everything out and just take the movie
try this site: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/ scubapetes guides are pretty easy to use and will explain nearly everything you need to know and somethings you dont
ok, is there a step by step walkthru on doing that,,, I tried so many different things that my brain is confusing them all, and I'll try it from a pro
i'm no pro but if you get stuck just post back and i'll get a few of the other members to help you as well
