Dvd converter software

    Hi everyone

    im looking for a freeware. i have a netbook and wanted to copy two wedding dvd's onto the hardive. so i can watch it straight from the hard drive using windows player. Ive searched the internet but no luck.

    your help will be much appreciated and rep added

    Dvdfab is a very good dvd ripper, which has a free and a paid version.

    hi

    thanks for your quick reply.

    ive tried that software. it copies onto the hardrive but i am unable to view the film

    its file ext .VOB. i havent copied the dvd straight to the hard drive.

    i think i need to convert the dvd file to wmv, but not sure. im looking to rip the film off the dvd, so theres only one icon for me to click and the film starts to play etc
