    It would be nice to know a few thing so we can try and help..

    What software are you using?
    What is the brand/make of DVD Writer?
    What is the brand of blank media you are using?
    System specs? Processor/ memory/ Hard drive space?

    What is the process you are attempting to use to backup your DVD's?

    Hi there,

    VSO Inspector v1.1 --> http://www.vso-software.fr/

    Can provide you/us with all the information about your DVD Burner, and your media.

    Insert a blank DVD in your burner, start VSO Inspector, then click on the SAVE (Floppy) image in the menu.

    It will save you a full report.
