I want to back up my dvd's but i do not have a dvd drive or burner, i currently only have a cd burner. I was just wondering if i would need to buy a dvd drive and a burner to back up my dvd's or would i just need the burner. Thank you for any help!
you do not need a dvd burner to back up your dvd"s you can use a program like dup dvd to back up your dvd to cd but it will take like 2 cd' or 3 cd's depending on how big the movie is but you do need a cd burnner and a dvd rom drive to do this take a long time like 24 hours to do a movie, i started to do this before i had a dvd burnner, but i have not used dup dvd in a long time so i don't know if it could handel the latest copyright stuffthere are a lot of other programs that will let you do convert dvd to vcd
