dvd copying problem

    i have a few dvds which i burned myself now i wish to re-copy them to my hard drive and make some more copies

    but im getting no luck. have tried dvd-decrypter, dvdfabdecrypter, dvd shrink, clone dvd, isobuster etc. and no luck what so ever. its gets to a certain point and just stops. i even tried dragging and dropiing the video_ts folder off the disk onto hd but nothing seems to work. their all phillips media, im having no prob with my riteks [touchwood]

    anything im doing wrong or could try

    ps. i got a "cyclic redundancy check" when dragging and dropping

    sounds like a bad disk to me. And Philips media might be CMC MAG crap! Using good media is your first step to successful burns! here is a desent guide to help you learn what is good and what isn't:http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

    download this useful program to tell you what kind of manufacturer ID your disc is, it's a free version: http://www.dvdinfopro.com/

    next you should be able to use Nero to copy a disc that is not encrypted any more! should be very easy! if it's not easy MUST BE BAD MEDIA! good luck!

    also want to stress the importancy of burning your discs at 4x! This will help the players read the disk better!
