i joined generetic.org and they havent even upgraded me yet..i hope the process happens soon i forked over 20bucks last night and still havent gotten upgraded yet.....
PM i0n (the admin) and he'll have you upgraded within the day - same thing happened to me I think they should make it an automated process, IMO
there were some threads on there complaining about how long it took. and don't forget, that $20 is for 6 months only...not a year.
for the most part, I don't think anyone who has PMed i0n has had a problem being upgraded - it's the people who haven't let him know thru PM like I said, it should be automated because the forum is being run by the mods, i0n merely checks his PMs
i pm'd him last night so i havent been there yet today but im going to check and see ..i agree they should have a automated process too.
yeah, mine took about a day and I wasn't even expecting it - once that one text add that says something like "want to get rid of annoying text ads" disappears then you will know it's been updated
tradershome.net is free all you have to do is request what you want and the covers/labels will be uploaded.
has anyone but me noticed that a lot of the more current/recent released dvd's covers can;t be found on the internet or if you can it's foriegn versions ( USA calling ,are we reaching LOL!) or it;s not the version that's on the release now ? I have a epson cx-7800 so I scan my own when I can or need too ! but some people don't have a scanner ! so they're stuck ! Curiouser & Curiouser ?
I agree Toxy. When I went to backup my Black Dahlia I couldn't find the USA cover anywhere. I had to go with a custom cover. Which didn't fit right!! Strat
Well the places I always use is covers.box.sk and cdcovers.cc. At the time and still now they don't have the cover I have. I even used mega-Search and couldn't find it. Now I haven't searched lately so somebody may have it. It doesn't matter, its already on my shelf!! Strat
haha. no wonder. go to a REAL cover site. covers.box.sk isn't bad as they have different resolutions...but cdcovers is garbage! try 9 covers...you can go to the request section and request any scan you want. i'd bet you'd have it in 2 days at the most.
i have quite a bit of covers. i just scan the originals. i should post them to some of these sites... im not as high tech to be able to do customs covers. but i want to badly, if anyone knows how to do the dvd covers(template) i want to lkearn how to do those...
cincyrob- Yeah Recently The scanner part of my Epson CX-7800 is earning it's keep ! I'm not saying You can't find the covers it just seems like you can't find the correct one ! And no disrespect meant to our Non-English speaking Members but I don't read or speak enough of any other language to read a DVD cover intended for East Outer Mongolia - that's a Obtuse example but you get my meaning!!! I don't know if it's custom enough for you cincyrob? but could'nt you use Labeling programs like UnderCover XP or the Labeling/ Printing Programs in Nero & or Roxio ? Or maybe I did'nt understand your meaning correctly !Good luck In any Case ( Case get it LOL!!!!) bye y'all !

Okay, Cincy Bob, I can help. I have a JPEG template for DVD covers and I've also set up a Word document with the margins set. I'll PM you with the details.
