Give me some more information on your DVD burner. What kinds of disks does it only recognize once a day? Are you trying to burn DVDs and you can only make one a day? I guess I don't really understand what you're doing.

MY BURNER IS A HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GWA-4164B /THERE WAS A POINT THAT I COULD BURN AND COPY DVD"S,HOWEVER IT DOESNT ANY MORE,AFTER COPYING ONE DISK,IT STOPS,IF I TRY AND PLAY A DVD IN POWER DVD,OR WINDOWS MEDIA 10,IT SAYS THAT THE DISK IN THE DRIVE IS AN UN SUPPORTED FORMAT,AND SOME TIMES ITS SAYS THERES NO DISK IN THE DRIVE,I USUALLY USE IMATION DISKS IN IT,THEY BURNED BEFORE BUT NOW ITS LIKE ONE A DAY,MICROSOFT SAYS THAT WINDOWS MEDIA 10,DOES NOT COME WITH A DVD DECODER AND THAT IT MUST BE PURCHASED FROM A THIRD PARTY VENDOR,WHAT IM TRYING TO DO IS SKIP BUYING A DVD DECODER,IF THATS AT ALL POSSIBLE.
THANKING YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE.

I don't really know anything about DVD decoders, other than what I just searched on Google. I don't know of a good free one or anything, but it shouldn't be that hard to find. I got a lot of hits just searching "Dvd decoder". Most of them require you to purchase a license though.
