Hi there, Based on the error, I assume you are trying to write ! Please provide us more information. What brand of media are you using ? (What's the Media ID ?) At what speed are you burning them ? Maybe because it's cheap media quality and you are burning too fast ! VSO Inspector v1.1 can provide you the Media ID of your media. Are those 8x media, and your burner firmware is outdated, and doesn't recognize them ? UPDATE: I just re-looked at the error, is says DVD-ROM ! That's a DVD Reader and *NOT* a burner. Are you trying to write to a DVD Reader ?
no im positive its a writer i back uped over 100 dvds with it...yea the dvd are cheap quality there Imation dvd-r 8x...i was writing at max so idk what it was...and im runing vso inspector right now.
hi imation yes? the error means doesnt like media VSO inspector thats a new one on me... could try firmware upgrade but only shot in dark, as said try 2x burn
Hello Rotary, And ? Did you try VSO Inspector v1.1 ? Did you like ? I think it's pretty simple, does the job right and it's FREE
@brett14 I got this error when i tryed to ripp a movie through DVD Decrypter also... What i did was change the software i ran it through CloneDVD 2... If CloneDVD couldnt do it and the same erro came up its a bad pressed media.... and u have to change the source disc... But b4 that u can try to clean the disc check for smudges scratches finger prints clean the disc and give it another go... If it doesnt work change the disc... p.s One thing i just noticed do u have a DVD Burner cause ur running it through your DVD Rom Drive... Try even changin the drive to your burner this may even help...
