DVD Decrypter error

    I used DVD Shrink (latest Version) and got my movie in ISO Format and when i try to burn it using dvd decrypter it says disc is not formated do u want to do this now and i click yes and it says "Locking Volume for Exclusive Access.." then i get an error message like this "DeviceIOControl(FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME)Failed! Device: [1:1:0] HP DVD WRITER 100j 1.34 (E:)
    Unable to lock volume for exclusive access.
    Reason: Access is denied.

    any idea what im doing wrong or how to fix this?

    Two possibilities come right to mind.

    1) Packet writing apps like InCD or Drag to Disk will try to keep access to your drive so if you have one of those try uninstalling it.

    2) Windows IMAPI burning service can do this as well and is best disabled through windows services. Post back if you need instructions on how to do this :)

    Hi,
    I'm encountering the same error and I do not kow how to remedy it. Can you give me instructions as to how I can uninstall those programs? Does this affect how something else will run and will I need to reinstall them later? I really don't know what they are used for and therefore if they will even be missed. Thanks for your help!

    Ok, nevermind, I figured it out :] My problem had nothing to do with those programs.
