Just recently started having this problem. I run dvdd then shrink. I have it set to burn with dvdd after shrink. Get this error when dvdd starts the burning process:

Device IO Control (FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed! Device: [1:1:0] dvdrw IDE 1004 0450 (E:)(ATA) Unable to lock volume for exclusive access Reason: Access is denied. Then there are 3 buttons to choose from below text: Abort, Retry and Ignore. I have been clicking ignore and it finishes up ok. Just the fact that it just started recently, and that I have to be there to click "Ignore" to complete burn. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like you may have packet writing software running in the background (e.g., INCD or Direct CD).

These type of programs will interfere with your burning process. You will need to disable or remove packet writing software on your system.
