Hello, Hoping someone can help me. I am having trouble burning Pirates of the Caribbean. DVD Shrink won't work (Cyclic redundancy error) with either AnyDVD or DVD43 runnning. I tried putting an iso to hard drive first, but get errors with DVD Decrypter and DVD FabDecrypter. Tried both of them with AnyDVD and DVD43 too. I also tried checking the "Ignore read errors" in DVD Decrypter to no avail. Here's my Decrypter log, I stopped after two hours or so. Can someone please help! I did look at that thread before posting. I have all software updated and have tried using DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, and DVDFab Decrypter all with AnyDVD (trial), DVD43, and by themselves on seperate occassions. None successfully burn an iso to the HD. I should mention that this is Pirates I (Curse of the Black Pearl). Given it's a couple of years old already, I can't see why I would be having so much trouble. I have successfully burned other Sony/Disney movies with Arccos protection with little to no problem before? Laker
I also tried RipIt4Me with DVD Decrypter. It said that there was portions that couldn't be burned, even though they are not encrypted and asked if I wanted to re-rip those portions. I said yes and then kept getting same error msgs. from DVD Decrypter as before. Laker
I am not sure why DvD decrypter did not work on this movie as it was what I used to burn it a couple years ago (as an Iso). Have you tried burning it with DVD Decrypter as a file? It will work on some of the newest movies too and then tell dvd shrink to find the file. You may want to try using anydvd with #1 DVD Ripper as well.
Well, I'm not sure what I did that changed anything, but I got it! I used RipIt4Me and DVD Decrypter. The first time I tried this, RipIt4Me shut down DVD43, this time I shut down DVD43 first and then lanched RipIt4Me. I also chose Wizard instead of 1 touch option. Thanks for the suggestions. Laker
