I am definitely a newbie to this, and have been trying everything for 2 days. Discouraged with XCopy (couldn't activate and can't get a response) I downloaded DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. I thought I was moving along fine, everything seemed to work as it should, til I actually went to burn the DVD and I got the following error: I/O Error Invalid Field in Parameter List. I'm using Maxell 4.7 GB DVD-R disks. Any suggestions?

i say try icopydvds2 with dvd43 in the background or dvdfab platinum (express mode)... depending on the movies u wanna download... hitch, xxx: state of the union, r we there yet, man of the house and kung-fu hustle, blast you'll have to use the dvdfab (express mode) any other ones use the icopydvds2 its just faster in better quality.

Thanks I will look into this. Since I just bought XCopy and can't get any response on the inability to activate, I'm a little nervous about buying another one. Also with DVD Shrink and Decrypter not seeming to work either....will I just be throwing away more money? I really want to be able to do this though, so I will probably give it a shot.
