After I insert the blank dvd-r into the dvd burner, then open up DVD Decrypter, this I/O error pops up. The disc isn't dirty or scratched so the first interpretation isn't right...I'm not sure about the other two. Does anyone know how I can fix this? =/ Thanks in advance
yes, i can help you. you will find out what i found out about it. DVDDecrypter IS GONE, FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! go to: http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/6501.cfm to find out all about it. go to: http://www.imgburn.com/ and download this it's free and it works just like the dvddecrypter.
ok try this, i have no problems decrypting with this alittle slower but works great, you will have to go look for your movie to burn, i find mine in my documents under movies. here try this it works: http://www.dvdfab.com/
@kwokky brew66 has given you some good info on what to do, but hasnt been quite clear in his/her posts. So let me state things clearly. For one, DVD Decrypter was bought out by Macrovison and declared illegal. So development has stopped and as a result it became outdated very quickly. Secondly there are many viable alternatives to DVD Decrypter. One option is a small program called RipIt4Me, it uses DVD Decrypter as a ripping engine, automatically rips, cleans, and sends the files through DVD Shrink. It is a very useful program and the one I would most highly recommend to you if you have a bit of technical no-how, otherwise the other option I would recommend is a program called DVDFab Decrypter. It is the ripping part of the DVDFab Express/Gold/Platinum products from Fengtao software. You put the disc in, tell the program were to save the files and it rips the entire movie to your hard-drive. Very easy to use, and reliabe. **ImgBurn is NOT a DVD ripping application it is a image burning/image building software.
