You will have to bear with me as I am very new to all this in some respects, we most actually.

A friend installed DVD Decrypter on to my pc for me sometime ago and I have never had a problem with it up until this week. For some reason my pc would not recognise my dvd burner so i got that resolved and I have also updated my firmware. I have also check those DMA settings in the device manager as well.

The problem is it won't even read the disc, it will search for it but it just carries on doing that. I have tried to refresh the program but then it just comes up with medium not present.

My dvd burner is HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4120B - i have tried the software on my partner laptop before he went to work and it worked on his dvd decrypter so i can't see it being a problem with the disc.

Thanks in advance for your help

Will any other program read from your DVD drive? Like a DVD movie can you put in a DVD movie and have your player play the DVD?

What are you trying to load into DVD Decrypter.

Try to uninstall and reinstall DVD Decrypter.

If the DVD drive is connected correctly and you have the latest firmware then maybe you need a new burrner.
