Very simple question. When using DVD Decrypter I can burn on 4x right up to 56x. If i burn with 56x will it reduce the quality of the final copy? What is the desired speed. Thanks in advance
huh!? i bet you cant you should be looking at 1x to 16x as that is the fastest you can use anyway (burners & media) i alsays use 4x on dvds as any faster and you may get playback issues later on
Are you trying to burn a cd disk instead of a DVD disk? They are the only disks I know that go to 56x. If you are, babelfish is right Decrypter won't do it, and even for a cd 56x is to fast to burn, I use 24x to 32x max. If using a [bold]DVD[/bold] disk 4x or 6x is what I burn at.
Newbie here, but I have been burning at 8x with very good results. Using DVDShrink and Nero with no problems. Also, using Verbat Data Life Plus media.
with good media you may be ok (i use TY disks (the best you can buy) and still use 4x it is more an issue of future-proofing... for the benefit of 5 mins i would rather know my burns are always good
I ALWAYS USE TDK 4X OR LTELY I'VE BEEN USING 8X. I DONT SEEN TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THESE. ARE THOSE TY'S A BETTER BRAND OF MEDIA OR ARE THE JUST AS WELL?
Please turn off your caps, I am not hard of hearing. TDK is a good media, TY are considered excellent.
I think Decrypter allows you to choose whatever you want as far as burn speeds, but in the end it's all up to what the media and burner can do. (I am not at my computer right now, so I'm not positive about the speed selection, but I do believe that's how it goes.)
I'll bet you can't burn @ 52x also that is correct. only if your a chick .... oh wait I'm married (nevermind)
