DVD Decrypter

    Does DVD Decrypter have a way to burn an ISO pic that is like, 7GB ?

    im interested in making backups of DVD 9's, without shrinking it or removing stuff

    burning it onto a DL disk,

    also, is it possible to have a RW DL disc,?

    Yes, Decrypter has dual layer support. Rip in ISO mode, burn the ISO.

    They don't make RW dual layer discs yet.

    Sure, go to Mode> ISO Read. Read and decrypt your movie to a hard drive location. Once that is complete, put in your blank DL media and select Mode> ISO write.

    Ypu do have an option of setting the layer break location:

    Tools> Settings> ISO Write Mode, You can specify a sector or let Decrypter "Calculate Optimal". I have never specified a sector so I'm not sure how you would actually tell which sector to specify.

    As far as I know there is no RW DL media being manufactured and you cannot burn a +R or -R in any way to create one. RW media is made in a specific way to allow erasing and rewriting.
