what is the difference between shrinking a dvd with dvd shrink and burning it straight from that. Or using dvd decrypter and A either use dvd decrypter to then burn the file(p.s which file would i then burn as there are 2 or 3 i think?) or using dvd shrink then copying the file from the folder made by dvd decrypt? CONFUSED I AM. stay with me here yeah use shrink to the encode and burn.?

thanks for all the advice ive read on numerous forums here i have learned an awful lot knowledge surely is power, ask my 7 year old wanting his spiderman dvd copied for a pal? anyway thanks again for all the knowledge you have provided to me and obviously others.
if you can help me out with this then please reply.
    thanks gent's.

You can use Shrink to encode and then your burning program, but Shrink will not work on all DVD's especially the newer protected ones. Then it is better to use DVD Decrypter which can still handle the protection. When you use Decrypter you can either rip in file mode or iso mode. Either will work in Shrink. I usually use file mode because it rips better. If you have ripped in file mode just go to the open file tab and find you movie folder and Shrink will open it, if you have ripped in iso mode then go to the file tab and then open disk image and find the MDS file and open it. It is easier if you read the guides on both of these programs for a better explanation on them.
