I know there is already a post for this, but I couldn't post on it. Sorry, I'm new! Anyway, I need a little help. I want to make a dvd-rom with dvd decryptor, however I can't figure out how to change the book type. I know where to go an all that, but my dvd drive isn't listed. It's a PIONEER DVD-RW DVRKD08L ATA DEVICE. What do I do?

Thanks iluvendo, I tried image burn but it still didn't have a listing for my pioneer dvd drive. Is there any other way to do it? I tried going through and selecting a few entries from all the different tabs, but I keep getting error messages. I don't know what to do. Also, I know you can set the OEM if you know who your dvd drive manufacturer is. However, I do not. Is there any way to find out you drive manufacturer. (I tried going to device manager and clicking on my drive listing, but all it said for manufacturer was, "standard CD-ROM drives") I have a toshiba satellite by the way.

If imgburn does not booktype your burner, then that's it. Or get an LG or Liteon. Imgburn booktypes those brands

Wait,on the Imgburn website, there is a forum section, and you can post your question there.

    good luck

For what it's worth the Imgburn log shows my Pioneer booktyped the same as a Samsung that is listed.
