I am trying to rip Lemony Snickets on to my computer. Continuously, I get an error at exactly 51% of the way complete. It is an I/O Error, which I have not experienced before. It says a bunch of other things, including, INTERPRETATION: Uncovered Read Error.
    Can anyone help?

By the way, I am able to play the DVD on my computer, so could that mean that the disc has no problems?

Are there scratches/smudges on the disc?

What kind of burner/dvd-rom are you using?

Using the newest version of decrypter?

The DVD disc is completely clean, no scratches or smudges. The burner/DVD-Rom is a "Lite-On DVDRW LDW-851S". I am not using the newest version of Decrypter. I am using version 3.2.2.0. of DVD Decryter.

I upgraded DVD Decrypter to the newest available version. And now I can successfully rip the DVD to my hard drive. Thanks for all the help. But what do you think the problem was within the older version of DVD Decrypter?

Some newer discs have been a problem for some older version of decrypter. It could've been a bug...who knows?

Glad to hear it worked out...
