Assuming the source video has no quality problems, ensure that you are using quality disks ('Verbatim' is consistently good) and burn at 4x or half the maximum shown on the package.
hey iv reciently bought i new burner its external it was from ebay so far it hasnt missed a beat with music cds but thought id back up some of my older dvds. i did five last night and every one of them was fine untill the last chapter or two where the movie starts skipping. is there anything i can do iv tried using a number of programs iv tried restarting my computer before each burn. thanks chris
In accordance with the great advice from Attar...if using the +R format blank media, make sure to booktype to DVD-ROM if your burner supports it. If not, stick with the -R format discs.
Check to see what size you have it set to. 4300 is recomended; That way you don't burn too close to the edge ( The die might not be consistent ). Burn On, Russell
